We think: Responsibility starts with yourself. Starting to protect the environment yourself is a big step in the right direction. Below you can see what we are doing today for our ecological footprint and our social conscience, among other things.

Responsibility in the hotel

Digital without paper: Many processes are digitized.
Full of energy thanks to photovoltaic systems on the hotel roof, district heating and our own combined heat and power station
Highly recommended: thermal insulation, protective glazing and heat recovery
Goodbye mountains of laundry: bathrobes, large towels and slippers are available at reception.
Nothing goes to waste: we can switch on the sauna and steam bath on request.
Simply switch off: motion detector
Save unnoticed: with water-saving toilets and flow restrictors (aerators)

Pooling energy: one cool maxi-bar KARMA KITCHEN instead of lots of minibars
No cleaning mania: no daily cleaning on request

Social responsibility

“Travel for all”: certified according to the Germany-wide labeling system
For the specialists of tomorrow: three apprenticeships
Fond of children: player sponsorship at JFV Bremerhaven, participation in the social days for the benefit of Kinderhospiz Cuxhaven/Bremerhaven e.V., Schulexpress Goetheschule etc.

Responsibility in the restaurant

Colorful & versatile: regional and seasonal dishes from local suppliers
Chef-made: Our boss makes the breakfast jam from regional fruit.
Meatless happiness: Vegetarian and vegan dishes make up around 30% of our main courses.
Sustainably fished: We offer MSC-certified fish, but no endangered marine products.
Pure wood: We do without tablecloths.
Open to ideas: For conferences and events, we are happy to adapt to your responsible wishes.
